Client Services Associate Summary The Client Services Associate role is designed to enhance the client experience and maintain a high level of service and support for our clients.
The individual in this role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our firm's clients and their associated investment accounts and/or insurance policies, as well as assisting with various operations within the firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with firm's Financial Advisors regarding the ongoing servicing and needs of firm's clients Assist with meeting preparation, which includes gathering financial information from various firm sources and compiling meeting-ready materials for firm's financial advisors Support the daily administration of the FA's business by opening client accounts, preparing and processing investment documentation, facilitating outgoing check requests and other disbursements, maintaining current client information and anticipating client needs Interact with clients by phone, email, or in person to respond to their inquiries Assist clients in completing various custodian forms (especially those completed digitally via DocuSign or via other electronic means) Communicate regularly with firm's custodian(s) to check the status of client requests Administrative duties not limited to scanning, answering phones, preparing mailings, data entry, scheduling meetings, etc.
Maintain accurate and complete account and trade records/files as required by Firm policy and industry regulation Represent the firm professionally both inside and outside the office Required Qualifications, Education, and Credentials At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry Excellent written and verbal communication Willing to learn new skills and adapt to new processes Strong initiative and problem-solving skills Service and relationship-oriented personality Ability to work with computer databases and Microsoft Office Suite Experience working in a team environment and a team-player mentality Willing to work on-site in our Glen Carbon, IL office.
