Responsibilities:
Supervises directs Assistant Manager, Leads and Retail Associates (Dock workers, Cashiers, Processors, etc.
) Train and monitor employees within the designated period regarding their job duties and all aspects of their employment with MERS/Goodwill.
Ensure that Lead Associates, Retail Associates, and Assistant Managers are performing all their essential/primary functions.
Coordinates and/or makes daily bank runs and ensures accuracy of deposits and change orders.
Notifies DMLP immediately of any Cash Register and / or operating issues.
Ensures employees complete all required training within the designated period.
Develop strategies with District Manager and Director of Loss Prevention to maximize store inventory, reduce loss through internal and external theft, and monitor.
Oversees store operations, resources and budgets for the retail store and ensures all goals are met or exceeded.
Maintain store presentation standards, Hire, train, and provide supervision to store personnel.
Must cooperate with all LP and/or Operations Investigations.
Performs opening and closing procedure, monitors and orders supplies for the store as needed.
Must read, follow, and model all agency policies and procedures.
Reviews store sales regularly to identify areas of opportunity.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Two to four years retail experience.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year working in retail management and/or retail operations.
Must have own vehicle and valid license and insurance throughout entire duration of position.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Some college preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA and ADA regulations, performing progressive discipline procedures and termination.
Valid State Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 pounds and operate small machinery (i.
e.
, pallet lifts, and trash compactor electric jack, double stacker).
Full range of motion, bending-lifting-twisting-pulling-and pushing.
Stand for extended periods of time and work in extreme temperatures.
